What’s actually gone wrong
When a uPVC door starts needing a shove, a lift or a jiggle to lock, the door itself is rarely the problem. It’s usually the multipoint mechanism inside the door edge failing, the door dropping on its hinges, or a worn handle or cylinder. We diagnose it properly and repair it — normally the same day, and normally for a fraction of the cost of a replacement door.

Do I need a whole new door?
Almost never. The vast majority of “won’t lock” uPVC doors are a failed mechanism, a dropped door or a worn handle — all repairable, usually on the first visit and far cheaper than a new door.
Can you fix it the same day?
Usually, yes. We carry the common multipoint mechanisms, cylinders and handles, so most repairs are done there and then.
Do you repair uPVC windows and patio doors as well?
Yes — window mechanisms, handles and hinges, and patio door locks and rollers, not just entrance doors.
Is it cheaper to repair a uPVC door or replace it?
